Charles d'Évreux

Charles d'Évreux (1305 – September 5, 1336) was the son of Louis d'Évreux and Marguerite d'Artois.[1]

From his father, he inherited the lordship of Étampes, which was made a county in 1327.

He married Maria de La Cerda y Lara, the daughter of Fernando de la Cerda, in April 1335 at Poissy.[2] They had two children:

  1. Louis II d'Évreux (1336–1400), married Jeanne (d. 1389), daughter of Raoul I of Brienne, Count of Eu
  2. John (1336 – aft. 1373, Rome)
